IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Any Indian National visiting Sikkim is required to carry a Photo ID Proof (Voter ID / Passport / Driving License) in order to obtain Tsomgo Lake permit for the above.
  2. Foreign nationals must be accompanied by a local guide when visiting Tsomgo Lake. Supplement charges ₹ 3150.00 per guide will be applicable extra.
  3. Bangladeshi Passport Holders needs to obtain Restricted Area Permit (RAP) previously known as Inner Line Permit for visiting Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur & Mizoram on the strength of valid Indian Visa.
  4. For Permit for Tsomgo Lake and North Sikkim is issued for at least 02 Person (Foreign Nationals) travelling together. The application for the permit have to be made within 12 O Clock (at the latest)  the day before the visit.

Tour Plan

DAY 01: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / NJP TO KANYAM

Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and transfer to Kanyam, Nepal (70kms/2:30hrs) via Kakarbhitta Border. Kanyam also referred to as the Queen of Eastern Nepal – in deference to the scenic beauty of this area. Overnight in Kanyam.

DAY 02: KANYAM - DARJEELING

Transfer to Darjeeling (52kms/2hrs) via Pashupatinagar Border. Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion. Surrounded by Tea gardens; this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take rest and then walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 03: DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING BEST POINTS

Breakfast at the Hotel followed by sightseeing covering Ghoom Monastery; Batashia Loop War Memorial; Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, drive past Tea Estate & Japanese Peace Pagoda. Walk around the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Evening Free for shopping & individual activity, overnight at hotel.

 

Note: – Tiger Hill visit is subject to availability of permit on the previous evening. This can be done on direct payment basis

DAY 04: DARJEELING TO GANGTOK

Morning transfer to Gangtok (105kms/4hrs). At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim and is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

DAY 05: GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Morning proceed for a full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan (Stupa), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Saturdays & Sundays) Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Saturdays & Sundays), Flower show, Tashi View point, Ganesh Tak, Hanuman Tak, Bakthang Falls and Gonjang Monastery. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

DAY 06: EXCURSION TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR NEW & TRANSFER TO PADAMCHEN

After Brekfast trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, further 12Kms is Baba Mandir dedicated to soldier Harbhajan Singh. Further transfer to Padamchen (35kms / 1.5hrs approx). Padamchen is an ideal place to stay on the Silk Route. Located around 8000 ft above the sea level and just 4 kms away from Zuluk, Padamchen offers the very pleasant weather throughout the year. Dense forest, mesmerizing view of Sikkim hills occupy the guests who travel through Silk Route. Overnight in Padamchen.

DAY 07: ZULUK & TRANSFER TO LATAGURI

Early morning proceed to visit the Sunrise point. After breakfast check out and proceed for Lataguri (160Kms / 6.5hrs) enroute enjoy the Silk Route Tour; Sillery Gaon; Aritar Lake.

Lataguri, a beautiful but small settlement near the Gorumara National Park. The evening is at leisure to explore the area on your own and accustom yourself to this entirely different atmosphere you are in. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 08: LATAGURI - PHUNTSHOLLING

Transfer to the border town of Phuntsholing (105Kms / 3hrs). Afternoon visit Kharbandi Monastery; Crocodile Farm; Zangto Pelri Lakhang. Overnight in Phuntsholing.

DAY 09: PHUNTSHOLLING TO NJP / BAGDOGRA

Morning after breakfast check-out & transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (165Kms / 4hrs). Tour Ends.
